Job summary

Behavioral Innovations is seeking a PT Assessment Specialist to conduct high-quality ABA assessments and reassessments. The role focuses on guiding families through initial steps, explaining clinical recommendations, and supporting a smooth transition to full-time ABA services when appropriate.

The position emphasizes telehealth delivery with occasional travel to BI centers and Home Office. The candidate should hold a BCBA in good standing, a Master’s in Behavior Analysis, and TX licensure plans

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field required.
• Current BCBA certification in good standing. BACB requirements followed.
• State licensure where required; LBA in TX with plan to start licensure in 30 days.
• Minimum 2 years of BCBA experience with ABA assessments/reassessments.
• Ability to clearly communicate clinical recommendations and build trust with families.
• Strong organization, prioritization, documentation, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and reassessments for clients.
• Coordinate with Intake and Authorization to schedule assessments and ensure documentation.
• Complete clinical assessments to guide ABA programming using tools like VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS.
• Prepare timely documentation to meet payer requirements and BI standards.
• Manage the assessment-to-start pipeline and address barriers for families.
• Communicate recommendations effectively and guide families through next steps.
