Job summary

Behavioral Innovations is seeking a full-time Assessment Specialist (BCBA) to conduct and write high-quality ABA assessments and reassessments via telehealth, with travel to centers and Home Office as needed. You will guide families through clinical recommendations and support a smooth transition to full-time services.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Behavior Analysis or related field.
• BCBA certification in good standing per BACB requirements.
• Current state licensure; LBA in TX and other states; licensure within 30 days of acceptance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a BCBA with ABA assessments.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and cross-functional skills.
• Proficiency with CentralReach and other required systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and reassessments for clients.
• Coordinate with Intake and Authorization to schedule assessments and necessary documentation.
• Prepare clinical assessments guiding ABA programming using tools like VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS.
• Ensure timely documentation to meet payer requirements and start of services.
• Maintain compliance with BACB, HIPAA, and company policies.
• Support Bright Beginnings program as needed.
• Transition clients to in-center BCBA when placement is available.
