Valencia College is hiring a part-time Specialist, Technical Support to assist the Campus Technology Partners Team at the East Campus. You will manage desktop and classroom technology, provide first-level support, and help with imaging and refresh projects.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Florida driver’s license is required.
• Experience delivering first-level IT support in a classroom environment.
• Familiarity with desktop hardware, software, and basic networking.
• Ability to document actions and maintain clear manuals.

Responsibilities

• Receives and documents technical support requests from classrooms and staff.
• Troubleshoots and resolves first- and second-level hardware, software, and network issues; escalates when needed.
• Maintains logs, forms, manuals and related documentation.
• Supports maintenance and setup of learning spaces and conference rooms.
• Installs and configures software/hardware and ensures inventory accuracy.
• Coordinates major repairs with users, staff and vendors as required.
• Assists faculty with computers and equipment; maintains technical documentation.
