Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Waugh Chapel is seeking part-time instructors to lead swim lessons and promote water safety. You will follow our curriculum, communicate progress to parents, and work a set weekly schedule that fits students or another job.

Training is provided, including lifeguard certification. The role offers opportunities for advancement, flexible hours, and a supportive team environment with company events.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to complete lifeguard, CPR & AED certification class as part of training and work schedule as a lifeguard.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Educate students on safety rules to prevent accidents.
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents/guardians on student development.
• Maintain and store pool equipment and class materials before/after lessons.
• Attend occasional workshops and training outside regular hours.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by employer.
