Job summary

Five Below in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Part-Time Support Lead to wow customers and guide store associates. You will train on the BEST customer service, oversee daily operations, assist with stock, and support merchandising execution.

As Manager on Duty when needed, you will open/close the store, secure cash, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operations. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew wow customers through personal contact and trains on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures effective performance and customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including cash handling, door security, and alarm settings.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance improvements.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs general store maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
