Job summary

Five Below in Rockaway, NJ is seeking a Support Lead for a part-time role. You will help supervise store operations, train crew members, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for customers.

The position requires at least 1 year of management experience and strong communication skills. You will assist with inventory, merchandising, and daily store tasks, stepping in as Manager on Duty when needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for fast placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening/closing procedures: secure cash, lock doors, set alarms for smooth operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
