Job summary

A Gem of Joy ABA in Maryland is seeking a part-time Supervising BCBA to lead evening cases and oversee a caseload of learners, families, and Behavior Technicians. The role reports to the Clinical Director and emphasizes applying best practices in ABA and maintaining quality standards.

The position requires a Master’s degree, BCBA certification, Maryland LBA license, and at least 3 years of ASD work, with 3-8pm hours and in-person monthly requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in education, psychology, ABA.
• BCBA certification.
• Maryland LBA license.
• 8-hour supervision training.
• 3+ years of ASD/I/DD experience.
• Experience with ABA assessments and treatment planning.
• Proficient in data collection and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between learners/families on your caseload and A Gem of Joy ABA.
• Complete initial and ongoing assessments of learner skills and challenging behaviors.
• Create individualized, medically necessary ABA treatment plans based on assessments.
• Review data weekly and update treatment plans to ensure progress.
• Provide supervision and training to RBTs and caregivers on ABA strategies.
• Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner.
