Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teachers with student learning and behavior.
• Support small groups and individual students as directed.
• Maintain safe, positive classroom environment and monitor student progress.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff while protecting confidentiality.
• Follow teacher instructions and adapt to diverse student needs.
• Assist with grading and record-keeping under supervision.
• Provide supervision and ensure student safety and security at all times.
