Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago's Truman College seeks a College Work Study - Student Experience Ambassador to help elevate student voice. You will conduct empathy interviews, take notes, and organize interview findings to inform campus programs.

Under supervision, you will update templates, support surveys, and provide general office support while maintaining confidentiality. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and be enrolled at CCC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or actively pursuing a GED.
• Interest in student experience and campus improvement initiatives.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and note-taking skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 or small-group empathy interviews with students.
• Take clear notes during interviews and organize them.
• Transcribe and submit interview notes using templates.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Attend trainings on interviewing and documentation.
• Provide support on surveys and other projects as needed.
