Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago seeks a College Work Study Student Experience Ambassador at Daley College to support student engagement through empathy interviews, note-taking, and data entry. You will work in teams with supervisors and ambassadors to identify themes and assist in surveys and projects.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, professionalism, and strong customer service while contributing to campus improvement initiatives. Training is provided and work is limited to 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in City Colleges of Chicago with at least 6 credit hours.
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week.
• Interest in student experience and campus improvement.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Respect for confidentiality and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 or small-group empathy interviews with students.
• Take clear notes during interviews and transcribe using templates.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with interviews.
• Support trainings on interviewing and documentation.
• Assist in surveys and data collection projects.
