Job summary

Oregon State University (OSU) is seeking a part-time CoE Student Engagement Coordinator to support the College of Engineering Events and Donor Engagement programs. The role balances event duties, donor communications, and data-driven stewardship efforts, reporting to the Associate Directors of Events and Donor Engagement.

Ideal candidates are enrolled students with strong organization, communication, and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a college, university, or similar program.
• Must meet academic standing requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
• Must meet the applicable minimum enrollment standard for their program.
• High School student: regularly enrolled in high school or home-schooling.
• Undergrad/post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term.
• Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term.
• Graduate student admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term.
• Graduate international student admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term.
• Ability to work an average of 6–9 hours per week during the academic year, with potential for special events.
• Optional remote approx. 3 hours per week in the summer.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Represent the College of Engineering with maturity and professionalism.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and maintaining event-related records and documentation.
• Drafting event communications and documents.
• Creating and printing name tags.
• Delivering/picking up event equipment, materials or mail to COE event locations.
• Editing, formatting, and preparing donor engagement materials and reports.
• Printing, assembling, and mailing stewardship and donor communications.
• Drafting stewardship materials such as impact pieces and thank-you notes.
• Assisting with data analysis and reporting projects to improve stewardship efforts.
