Job summary

OSU Foundation is seeking a part‑time Engagement Student Assistant to support the Annual Giving and Gift Planning teams in Corvallis. You will assist with donor outreach, stewardship communications, and prospect research while gaining exposure to both annual and planned giving strategies.

The role offers flexible hybrid work arrangements, up to 15–20 hours per week, and opportunities to develop professional skills in communications, fundraising, donor relations, research, and data analysis

Qualifications

Strong computer skills with MS Office and CRM experience.
Ability to research information through multiple electronic and paper files.
Strong organizational, oral and interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with OSU Foundation and OSU teams.

Responsibilities

Promote philanthropy through student and donor engagement and outreach.
Support Dam Proud Day and OSU Legacy Society activities with logistics and communications.
Thank donors and share impact stories; assist with legacy donor engagement.
Conduct donor and prospect research to support fundraising strategies.
Assist with donor cultivation, outreach preparation, and stewardship activities.
Support creation and editing of marketing and donor communications.
Maintain donor records and perform data entry and coding updates.
