Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver in Michigan to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, and maintains a clean driving record while upholding the LifeWise faith.

The role involves transporting students and volunteers, following traffic laws, and ensuring the bus remains clean and safe. Occasional classroom volunteering may be required by agreement with the Director.

Qualifications

• Must have mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise faith.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last five years.
• Must undergo background check and annual physician's statement for medical conditions.
• Must complete drug and/or alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed with the Director.
