Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Michigan is seeking a part-time LifeWise CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and a caring demeanor while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and compliance with traffic laws.

Required are a CDL with passenger endorsement, a clean five-year driving record, and passing background and drug tests. Active church involvement aligned with our beliefs is also expected.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required; school bus (S) endorsement preferred.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church with aligned doctrine.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in 5 years.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children, enforcing rules.
• Assist students with entering/exiting and provide a calm, caring demeanor.
