Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students. Duties include maintaining a clean, mechanically safe bus, obeying traffic laws, and assisting students while upholding a calm, caring demeanor.

Candidate must meet licensure requirements, pass background checks, and comply with annual physician's statements and drug testing as required. This is a part-time, non-exempt role.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church matching LifeWise beliefs.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in 5 years.
• Continuous licensure for past 3 years; annual physician's statement if needed.
• Background check and annual drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to/from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws; maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment; enforce safety rules; assist students boarding.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if approved by Director.
