Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Indiana is seeking a part-time vehicle driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, and maintains a clean driving record.

As a LifeWise driver you will operate buses, follow traffic laws, ensure student safety, inspect vehicles, and assist students entering or exiting. The role may include classroom volunteering as arranged with the Director.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Statement of Faith.
• Active church involvement aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Valid driver’s license; licensed at least 3 years.
• CDL with passenger endorsement for 15-passenger vehicles.
• Age 21–80; drivers over 75 require extra documentation.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle safety.
• Perform routine bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe, calm environment and assist students entering/exiting.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classrooms if arranged with the Director.
