Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site.

The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and adheres to LifeWise Academy beliefs. A CDL with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record are required; background checks and drug testing are part of the process. Part-time, non-exempt hourly position.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement.
• School bus endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or major violations in the last five years.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol testing.
• Annual physician's statement may be required for medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
