Job summary

Responsibilities include processing cash receipts, refunds, reconciling payments, maintaining records, and assisting with special accounting projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Bills and collects student fees; responds to student questions and inquiries
• Reconciles cash receipts and web payment systems; prepares bank deposits
• Assists in calculating and processing cash and financial aid refunds
• Manages the collection of bad debts
• Reviews accuracy of student accounts and places holds
• Assists in balancing accounts receivable ledgers
• Serves as backup for the Senior Accounts Receivable Technician
• Files and maintains cashier office records
• Reviews and maintains student account payment plans
• Assists with special accounting projects as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
