Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for storefront foot patrol in Hagerstown, MD. You will safeguard a retail distribution location, provide customer service to employees and visitors, and perform unarmed patrols while monitoring access and reporting observations.

The position offers flexible scheduling via Claim a Shift, opportunities for training and career growth, and a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required, as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors and visitors at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs for deliveries and arrivals.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Assist with the orderly movement of people and vehicles and complete required reports.
