Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors and visitors at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs for deliveries and arrivals.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Assist with the orderly movement of people and vehicles and complete required reports.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for deliveries, arrivals, departures, and other site activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Help support the orderly movement of people and vehicles throughout the location while documenting observations and completing required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
