Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Store Patrol in Hagerstown, MD. You will safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires adherence to site procedures, professional communication, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeters.
Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and direct individuals to appropriate locations per site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly; notify site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities accurately and promptly per site requirements.
