Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Inspection in Hagerstown, MD. You will serve and safeguard clients, perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This Part-Time role offers flexible scheduling, training, and growth opportunities within a nationwide security team.

Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred.
Guard card/license preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigations required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency responses.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs/reports per site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, unusual activity, and policy violations with professional communication.
