Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a facility in Hagerstown, MD. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and abnormal situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document activity as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift handoffs per requirements.
