Allied Universal in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable coverage at a fixed site with flexible shifts. The role pays $19.00 per hour and offers opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include client service, incident response, patrols, access control, and reporting hazards per site procedures. Requirements: at least 1 year security experience, high school diploma or equivalent, background check

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check and drug screen required by employment.
Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents calmly, document observations, and notify site contacts.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor entry requirements.
Report hazards and security concerns per site procedures.
