Job summary

Five Below, Inc. in Paramus, NJ is seeking an Interim Support Lead for a part-time role. You will help oversee daily store operations, supervise associates, and ensure an excellent customer experience.

The position requires prior management experience, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work day/evening/weekend shifts. You will participate in opening/closing duties, stock handling, and coaching team members.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty handling store operations, staff management, customer service and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses via merchandising and staff performance.
