Job summary

At Home in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Part-Time Operations Lead to support store processes and a vibrant selling culture. You will manage opening/closing, training, and task delegation while ensuring compliance with company standards.

You will coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing and customer experience, and you will assist with freight and merchandising tasks. The role requires lifting, standing, and working a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Clear and concise communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and move merchandise in a warehouse-format store.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store and Front-End processes; maintain operational readiness.
• Coordinate staffing with Assistant Store Manager to support traffic and sales.
• Plan daily/weekly tasks to meet store and department goals.
• Support inventory control, safety, and loss prevention to keep the store profitable.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance conversations with team members.
• Assist with freight processing and merchandising upkeep, including end caps.
