Job summary

At Home in Garland, TX is seeking an Operations Lead (PT) to support store processes and an active selling culture by ensuring operations meet company standards designed to drive sales. The OL handles opening, closing, training, and task delegation while maintaining a safe, ethical, and compliant work environment.

You will coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing and productivity, manage tasks and freight, oversee inventory and shrink, and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• The OL performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes with operational readiness.
• The OL coordinates with the ASM to maximize staffing and meet labor standards and customer experience goals.
• The OL plans daily/weekly workloads and assigns tasks to deliver store and sales goals.
• The OL supports inventory control, safety, shrink, and customer experience to ensure profitable operations.
• The OL drives productivity through training, coaching, and performance appraisals.
• The OL communicates via daily huddles to reinforce the customer experience.
• The OL participates in freight processes for incoming shipments and transitions.
• The OL stocks products, maintains end caps, and keeps the store neat and organized.
• All other duties as assigned by business needs.
• Open availability nights and weekends.
