Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Quincy location. You will help organize merchandise, assist customers, and participate in opening/closing procedures.

The role requires strong communication and leadership abilities, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Maintain store areas and organize stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Supervise and develop store associates to maintain a safe, friendly environment.
