Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and manage merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor, ensuring seasonal areas are well maintained. The role includes opening/closing duties, payroll and scheduling records, loss prevention, and helping train Store Associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
