Job summary

Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our Woodbridge, NJ location. You’ll lead a team, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold store standards while working part-time in a high-energy retail environment.

You’ll be responsible for scheduling, training, and achieving sales goals, with hands-on involvement in visual merchandising, loss prevention, and daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer concerns when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting with regular follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline when needed to maintain standards.
• Drive selling strategies to meet KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and escalations on the floor to ensure a positive outcome.
• Maintain visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and professional appearance.
