Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a part-time capacity to lead store operations and drive exceptional customer experiences. You will act as manager on duty, coach staff, manage scheduling, and uphold visual standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include training, performance management, and ensuring adherence to brand policies while delivering top-notch service to guests and maintaining inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store teams and managing daily operations.
• Ability to handle customer issues and ensure high service standards.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, and training.
• Knowledge of POS systems and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow up.
• Administer disciplinary steps including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team by creating a fun, productive environment and aligning work with company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive team environment and adherence to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, call in associates during peak periods when Manager is absent.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
• Encourage compliance with policies and safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property.
• Other duties as assigned.
