Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States. The role focuses on leading store operations, coaching staff, and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding Lids’ standards and processes.

The position emphasizes managing scheduling, training, and performance, with accountability for store performance and a welcoming, inclusive team environment. This is a part-time, in-store leadership role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead and coach store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings.
• Create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Staff the store and manage scheduling for peak periods.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, protect inventory, funds and property.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and drive selling strategies.
• Manage cash handling, till opening/closing, and inventory accuracy.
