Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a busy retail location. You will mentor team members, drive sales, ensure store standards, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Lids brand values.

The role focuses on scheduling, training, inventory control, cash handling, and maintaining a welcoming, organized store. A successful candidate can act as Manager on duty in the Store Manager’s absence and contribute to a positive, results-driven team environment.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting, ensuring sales/tasks follow-up.
• Maintain cash handling procedures including opening/closing till and bank drops.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, protect assets, and maintain brand standards.
