Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a part-time role to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and supervising staff, while ensuring compliance with policy and brand standards. This position emphasizes sales performance, team leadership, and a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling, customer issues, and escalations when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings in the Store Manager's absence.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and adherence to brand standards.
• Recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safeguard company assets (inventory, funds, property).
