Job summary

Five Below is hiring for an hourly position at our stores. This role focuses on wowing customers, supervising crew, and maintaining smooth daily operations.

You will open/close the store, train associates, drive sales, manage stock, and ensure safety and compliance. The job requires a high school diploma, 1 year of management experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of new items.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed; handles store operations and staff.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, sets alarms, and ensures daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates; improves performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses; collaborates with leadership on merchandising and operations.
