Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage cash, staffing, and merchandising to optimize sales and curb costs while ensuring a WOW customer experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, high school diploma, and strong communication skills. Availability for day/evening shifts, weekends, and occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and composure under pressure are important.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew delivers WOW customer service with fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and performance of associates.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking for efficient floor availability.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff issues.
• Open/close procedures including cash handling, doors, alarms, and daily setup.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training with policies and product knowledge.
• Drive sales and manage expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and recovery processes.
• Maintain housekeeping and stock room organization.
