Job summary

DSW Shoe Warehouse, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate to support store management in delivering a strong customer experience, accurate inventory, and efficient cashwrap operations. The role emphasizes teamwork, policy compliance, and a positive work environment.

You will handle daily tasks such as opening/closing, merchandising, and assisting customers with a friendly, helpful service mindset. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays and physical stamina.

• Proficient in the use of technology to engage in customer interactions (Register, Register Keyboard, iPhone, Calculator).
• Must be able to stand or walk for up to 100% of the time.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally to frequently.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently.

Responsibilities

• Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience.
• Maintain in-store experience by modeling CEL behaviors and guiding associate behaviors to achieve store goals and KPI.
• Respond to customer and associate requests with urgency.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining store standards and completing open/close tasks.
• Work with store leadership to follow all policies and procedures.
• Participate in inventory-related activities and omni activities in store (BOPIS, etc.).
• Address associate and customer concerns and escalate as needed.
