Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Human Services, Social Work preferred.
• Experience working independently but also collaboratively.
• Bilingual Haitian Creole or Spanish.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Conflict Resolution and Crisis Intervention Skills.
• Familiarity with ETO or similar databases.
• Follow/articulate written and verbal instructions clearly.
• Must be CPR/SFA Certified within 30 days of hire.
• Bilingual in Spanish/Haitian Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support families exiting Hildebrand Emergency Shelter for 24–36 months.
• Discuss post-shelter supports with families and housing staff.
• Enter stabilization plans into ETO/ASIST and update every 30 days.
• Maintain monthly landlord communications to ensure rent payments and address issues.
• Document stabilization efforts and meetings in EA Case Notes (ETO/ASIST).
• Track client demographics, income, immigration status, andHil debrand tiering data weekly/monthly.
• Collect written success stories of client experiences.
• Help families access public and private resources for housing retention.
• Encourage families to progress on stabilization goals.
• Cultivate landlord-tenant relationships and provide mediation as needed.
• Advocate for families in housing court appearances.
• Intervene if tenancy is endangered and assist with medical access.
• Monitor school attendance and progress for school-age children.
• Guide families through first-time homeownership programs.
• Engage clients in Hildebrand Alumni program and document progress.
• Refer to System Navigators when referrals are challenging.
