Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver evaluation and therapy services. The role includes planning rehabilitative care with achievable goals and educating patients and families within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should have an ASHA-approved SLP program, NY licensure eligibility, and CCC; experience with MBSS, electro larynx, tracheostomy devices, AAC, and neurologically involved populations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ASHA-approved speech-language pathology program.
• Licensed or eligible for NY licensure; CCC certification preferred.
• Experience with MBSS, electro larynx, tracheostomy valves and AAC devices.
• Experience with swallowing and communication evaluations for neurologically impaired populations.
• Stroke-related assessment or therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, evaluation and speech-language pathology services.
• Establish rehabilitative plan of care with realistic goals.
• Educate patients, families, staff and the community. Coordinate services with other disciplines.
