Job summary

Trinity Health Livonia Hospital in Livonia, MI seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders, with a focus on maximizing participation and independence.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain thorough documentation, and pursue ongoing professional development in line with ASHA and Michigan licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Six to twelve months related experience preferred.
• State of Michigan SLP license or CFY eligibility; full license within ~1 month of CFY.
• CCC via ASHA preferred or obtained after CFY requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation and diagnosis of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Designs and implements individual treatment plans.
• Counsels patients and families concerning communication and swallowing issues.
• Provides thorough documentation of test data and progress.
• Participates in patient conferences and communicates with medical staff as needed.
