Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians in SNF settings.

The role requires MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, active state licensure, and CPR certification. New grads welcome; part-time schedule with focus on patient-centered care in a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP).
• ASHA certified (CCC) OR eligible for CFY to earn CCCs; maintain credentialing.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrates good body mechanics at all times.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Understand and follow laws, regulations, and Life Care policies.
