Millennium Health is seeking a Part-Time Female Specimen Collector in St. George, UT. The role involves observing collections for female patients, collecting urine or oral fluid, and serving as the liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

Schedule is Monday and Thursday evenings and days, with a flexible, part-time commitment. The ideal candidate has 6+ months of specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, strong customer service, and proficiency with smartphones/computers.

Qualifications

• 6+ months specimen collector or 1+ year medical field experience
• 2+ years of customer service experience acceptable in lieu of medical experience
• Proficient with smartphones and computers
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Familiarity with medical insurance/billing and diagnostic codes is a plus
• Commitment to HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality and compliance
• Commitment to administrative, physical and cyber security controls
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical: sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lift up to 20 lbs

Responsabilités

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens
• Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required
