Millennium Health is seeking a Part-Time Female Specimen Collector in St. Helens, OR. The role involves collecting patient urine and oral fluid specimens, preparing shipments, and serving as the liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients
• 2+ years of customer servic e experience can be considered in place of medical experience
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a cell phone/smartphone and computer
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• HIPAA/HiTrust/compliance policies must be followed
• Ability to observe administrative, physical and cyber security controls
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Physical requirements: sit 60%, walk 20%, stand 20%, lift up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as intermediary between clinic and laboratory
• Record patient and physician information accurately
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information
• Order and maintain collection supplies onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens
• May require driving between facilities
