Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part Time Specimen Collector in Saint George, UT. The role involves collecting urine or oral fluid specimens, processing and shipping, and serving as the liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

You will record patient data, manage supplies, and ensure accuracy in the ordering portal. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, with occasional travel to multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service can substitute medical experience.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Proficient smartphone and computer use required.
• HIPAA/HiTrust familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen issues with billing or patient data in the portal.
• Maintain on-site collection supplies inventory.
• Observe collections for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
• Travel between facilities may be required.
