Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full-Time Female Specimen Collector in Tooele, UT. The role involves collecting urine and saliva specimens, processing and shipping them, and acting as the intermediary between clinics and the laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, plus strong customer service. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable navigating smartphones and computers, with HIPAA/compliance awareness.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience acceptable in lieu of direct medical experience.
• Must navigate smartphone and computer proficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• HIPAA/HiTrust/compliance policies must be followed at all times.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens from patients.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information and order details in the system.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the portal.
• Maintain collection supplies inventory on site.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens; travel between facilities may be required.
