Job summary

TOCA Soccer in Evanston, IL is seeking a part-time TOCA Soccer Trainer to lead coaching sessions and player development for youth and adults. The role emphasizes coaching excellence, player growth, and active engagement with families and teammates.

You will work evenings and weekends, supporting sessions with energy and a love for the game, while embodying TOCA’s values and delivering a positive, safe training environment.

Qualifications

• Soccer experience coaching or playing at youth, college, or pro levels.
• Passion for coaching and player development.
• Energy to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• On the Field: Coaching & Player Development: provide feedback, intervening when needed, and reinforce learning.
• Team Captain: build connections with players and parents, keep clients engaged, welcome newcomers.
• Off the Field: Growth: track progress with training manager, analyze data, adjust methods as needed.
• Facility & Culture MVP: keep the space inviting, uphold TOCA values of excellence, innovation, and community.
