Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC is seeking in-home caregivers. We provide one-on-one care to seniors in Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties with no CNA license required.

Work part-time with flexible schedules—days, evenings, weekends, or overnights—alongside paid training and opportunities for development. Join a supportive team dedicated to compassionate home care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance.
• Must adhere to plans of care for client.
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs.
• One year of in-home, caregiver experience preferred.
• Must have good communication skills, active listening, between clients/families and staff.
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status.
• Pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Medication reminders.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping duties for the client.
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion.

• One year proven experience as a in-home caregiver (Preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench and walker (training is available)
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
