Visiting Angels is seeking part-time in-home aides (CNA’s and experienced caregivers) to provide one-on-one care in Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston counties. We offer in-house training, a family environment, and flexible scheduling across multiple locations.

Join a national network dedicated to compassionate senior home care. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass screenings. Prior in-home care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle, insurance and commuting are required.
• Must adhere to plans of care and be flexible with client schedules.
• One year in-home caregiver experience preferred.
• Good communication and active listening with clients/families/staff.
• Background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support personal care and hygiene needs.
• Prepare light meals per dietary restrictions.
• Transport to shops, pharmacy, or appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance

• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home, caregiver experience
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staffMust be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status

• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

NO CNA LICENSE REQUIRED!
