Job summary

Baltic Elementary School is seeking a Site Lead to help create a fun, structured, and enriching experience for students. This role collaborates with the Site Coordinator and other Site Leads to provide leadership and support while maintaining a safe, positive environment.

This part-time, school-year position runs 3:15pm–6:00pm, Monday–Friday, Aug 19 through May 20, with starting pay of $14.50 per hour. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, and YMCA benefits include a free gym membership and

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
• Strong classroom management and behavior management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and support daily lesson plans and activities.
• Effectively manage student behaviors using positive reinforcement and classroom management strategies.
• Assist with program logistics, including setup, cleanup, and organization of materials.
• Maintain safety and supervision of all children at all times.
• Encourage participation and foster an inclusive environment.
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and guardians as needed.
