YMCA Loudoun is seeking a fun, enthusiastic, and responsible part-time Site Director to manage the daily operations of the before- and after-school program under the YMCA School Age Curriculum. The role focuses on safety, supervision, and program development for youth in a vibrant community setting.

The Site Director will oversee staff, maintain staffing ratios, coordinate weekly lesson plans, and communicate with principals and parents, while ensuring licensing compliance and a positive,

Qualifications

• 21 years of age, a graduate degree in a child-related field and six months of programmatic experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a child-related field and one year of programmatic experience.
• 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours of college credit with 12/18 in child-related subjects and a year of programmatic experience.
• Two years of programmatic experience with one year in a staff supervisory capacity and relevant education.

Responsabilités

• Maintains responsibility for the safety of the children at the site.
• Supervises the senior group leaders, group leaders, and volunteers in the classroom or at the site.
• Maintains staff/child ratios by using substitutes or substituting for other staff when necessary.
• Provides guidance to senior group leaders and group leaders to effectively develop and carry out appropriate weekly lesson plans for daily activities.
• Effectively communicates regularly with school principals and parents, through newsletters, calendar of activities, etc.
• Maintains site in compliance with licensing requirements at all times.
